Who provides Range Rover Finance?
Land Rover Financial Services is provided by Black Horse Finance Limited, which is part of the Lloyds banking group.
While you might think you are dealing with “in-house” Land Rover Financial Services, you are actually dealing with Black Horse trading as Land Rover Finance. Black Horse is a motor finance provider and typically has a high threshold for approvals. This means some customers might find it difficult to get approved by Land Rover Finance and subsequently have an application rejected. If this happens to you, fear not. The Top Gear Asset Finance team has access to several other motor finance providers for private individuals and businesses who would be happy to arrange the finance of your Land Rover without using Land Rover Financial Services.
How much do you have to put down for a Range Rover?
Typically, the minimum deposit is 10% of the car’s value. However, this isn’t always the case. It is possible to arrange a finance product with a zero deposit for a new or used Land Rover. A zero-deposit deal is dependent on the applicant having a solid credit rating.
How much would a Range Rover Cost per Month?
The monthly repayments on a Range Rover can drastically vary. Many qualifying factors can impact the monthly repayment, such as the value of the car, whether it is financed via HP or a PCP, the length of the deal, and what deposit is available, to name just a few. For example, a new Range Rover Sport costing £85,000 with a 20% deposit (£17,000) would have a repayment in the region of £980 per month with a balloon payment at the end of the deal.
What Are Current Range Rover Wait Times?
Land Rover would have you believe there is a long waiting list for a new Land Rover/Range Rover product. However, we know differently. Many unsold vehicles are built and available for immediate delivery. We also have access to discounted vehicles.
Why is Range Rover Insurance So High
One of the reasons why insuring a Range Rover is so costly is because some of the “premium” models have high theft rates. High premiums are particularly common in some of the UK’s bigger cities. However, Land Rover is aware that some vehicles are being targeted and has made steps to upgrade the antitheft systems on all models within the range. Hopefully, we will see this having a positive impact on insurance premiums.
